Walker’s now collected 4 HR’s and 11 RBI’s in 11 games. He can bring a daisy and butterfly patterned oven mitt to RF if he keeps on ripping the baseball like that.

I was there for the whole thing. Not a ton to report that hasn’t been said here. I changed caps and attribute the win to that. Then it will be up to Jordan to make adjustments. I’m very cautiously hopeful that he’s turned a corner, but we will know in the next month or two. Having his bat turn into something like what we expected from him (I personally expected him to be a 130-140 OPS+ guy after his rookie year but would be very happy if he was even 120ish) would be an amazing turn of events for the year.
For good or for bad, you usually don’t know what you have with a team until about the end of May.
It doesn’t always hold true but most of the time it does.
