My guess is we have never gone on the road against a last place team and lost 3 straight all by shut out! A cardinals first!
I would love to trade Fedde at the deadline to make room for McGreevey, but we will get next to nothing for him! I’d still do it but no mlb contender will trade a top 30 prospect for him imo!
Hope this is not the 3 games we look back on and say this was the start of the major dive!
Out on the bike today so did not watch this anemic effort, but listened and the radio guys said this is only the third time in 56 years the Cards have been shutout in all three of a series.
Not a good way to head to Chicago. But like we did in The Land, maybe we put up 8 or 9 Friday in Wrigley and go on to sweep those guys.
Maybe Mozeliak wants to part ways with Fedde because he’s the guy we got in return for Edman. Right now he’s been getting beat up….. last two starts GS= 17 and 16. Many Card fans are reminded of that horrible move every time they hear Fedde’s name.
The three losses in PIT, all shut-outs will ring in the ears of the entire Cardinal Nation for the rest of 2025 and into 2026. No play-off contender should allow this happen, so maybe the Cards will fall out of contention. I hope not but they seem to headed in that direction.
