With both lineups producing, our pen and D need to win the late innings. Matz now not helping from the pen, down 8-5.
Not sure if it would have made any difference, but Jordan obviously hesitant on the throw to HP. He has to get rid of it a lot quicker on that play.
In a close game he’s more than a little suspect, but Matz has seemed to always have had the outstanding ability to hold a 9 or 10 run lead…
I hate that when guys swing at pitches that are not strikes as soon as they leave the pitcher’s hand. We seem to be better at recognizing that here early on, but it still happens now and then.
That 5 run first inning handicap is probably going to be the difference, but I have to admire the manner in which the fellas didn’t pack it in and at least stayed around to play an entire game. Still have a chance to pull this one out of the fire.
Dang, Donovan with what was actually an E-4, and we miss what should have been a huge DP. Instead a run scores and the inning is still alive for Boston.
Well it looks like we have a leftover league softball game going on today.

When you score 9 runs you expect to win. When you give up 13 runs you expect to…say a lot of bad words?
Bueler allows 5 ER’s, 2 HR’s and gets the W. Fedde allowed the same 5 ER’s and 2 HR’s. Ugly game from a pitching standpoint.
And the Dodgers and Phillies game is that STUPID Apple TV game. I wish MLB had that Apple TV stuck up their…….
I guess I will watch the Reds and Brewers tonight. Front Row Amy was there last night. Hopefully she will return tonight. What are the odds the Reds lost 1-0 again tonight? Astronomical I assume.
It’s my understanding Reds manager Terry Francona and some players have fallen ill and gone back to their hotel. Not sure what the Reds lineup will look like tonight.
Phillies hand the Dodgers their first loss of the season as they win 3-2, but Little Eddie taters up again for his 5th HR of the season as he keeps pace with Judge for the league lead…Haha!
Whoops…Judge hits another for his 6th HR of the season to once again overtake Little Eddie for the Big League lead in taters. This could turn out to be a battle not unlike Maris/Mantle…I would have said McGwire/Sosa, but those two guys don’t count.
