Ha good job Burly. He got a really bad jump and looked like he was running in molasses, but he snowconed it the end to get the out.

1TD, that play was a perfect example of how bad player can make “good” defensive plays, but a great defender makes that play look like a routine fly ball.

A much needed 9 pitch inning from Liberatore. Should hopefully be able to pitch 6

Yeah, Albert, most OF’ers with the fancy wheels snag that baseball in stride.

Herrera with another base hit. I thought his 2nd AB he had another hit as he hit it well oppo, but found a glove

1TD, that hit puts Ivan to .309 on his career. I’m with you and surprised Rats isn’t saying anything about him at all with that career BA

Herrera with a good rough slide. As slow as Pozo is that was an easy DP without a rough slide there.

Cardinals have now collected 9 hits in this game and the only one that makes any difference is the solo tater from Burleson.

Yeah, he’s not slowing down, Albert and he’s up to .429 on the season. If he keeps it up, we’ll be calling him Ivan Hornsby…Haha!

Fingers crossed Victor is not hurt after that HBP. Right on the elbow guard so hopefully it helped prevent an injury

That one got Victor pretty good.

Not a bad 6 innings of work from Liberatore. Let’s get a run on two and place him and team in line for the W.

Agree 1TD. Another quality start for Liberatore and he did his job today giving the team a great chance to win. Hopefully someone can push Donovan across home plate here to let Liberatore be eligible for the win

This KC pen is good. Lynch with a 0.87 ERA, but now Erceg comes in with a 0.47 ERA

I would not have went with Roycroft here who as I type this gives up a leadoff triple on the 1st pitch

And now pitch 2 he gives up a hit to give up the lead. Absolutely horrible job. A very well rested pen and Oli chose the worst RP on the staff to go to in a tie game

Great throw by Pozo. Roycroft pitches 1 inning with 2 hits allowed, but just 7 pitches thrown as the Royals came in swinging against him

You can blame Noot for part of that when he bobbled the ball in the corner.

Cardinals secured a W on 2 hits yesterday. They have 10 hits thus far today.

He did bobble, but I doubt it mattered as that runner would have scored on the single whether on 2B or 3B

When Burleson squared around on the first pitch I was indignantly thinking, “you play for the W on the road!” I wish he’d have laid a sac-bunt down…Haha!
