I’ll just blame it on the deadline but pretty much a lack of consistency on most of the 26 man roster. Been this teams issue most of the season.

If Bozo, I mean Pozo, wasn’t so overweight and could run a little bit, he would have had two infield hits tonight. He does have decent bat control, it seems, and can put the bat on the ball.

In Wednesday’s With Walton and Reis, Kyle Reis said that Crooks is definitely not ready for the bigs yet. If that’s the case, the Cardinals absolutely must find a backup catcher for 2026.

Just want to add that Kyle sounds very well informed and knowledgeable about Cardinals’ prospects. He doesn’t like Nathan Church, for example, but he backs it up with a confident explanation for why he doesn’t think Church is ready.
