Mikolas pitched out of a big jam in the 6th allowing only 1 run. 8-2 Cards heading to bottom 6th.

Not exactly the Braves’ “A” lineup, but the offense gave Mikolas room and he limited the damage well. Three-run HR for Ozuna. Solo shot for Munoz, who is this spring’s Jose Martinez.

P.S. I also liked Wong’s bunt single to 3B against the shift. He needs to do that over and over.

Cards score eight runs on just four hits and defeated Atlanta, 8-2. Mikolas went six for the win. Guilmet, Lucas and Leone had a scoreless inning each. St. Louis is 14-11-2 on the spring.

I agree Brian. I liked that bunt from Wong. The more he does that the more he will force teams to play him straight up.
