March 5, 2018 at 9:25 am #44991When do we need to start worrying about Carpenter and his back injury? It was described as a stiff back but I’m starting to think there’s more to the issue than that. I realize we’re about 3.5 weeks before Opening Day so I’m just curious.

ParticipantIs it my imagination or is GGarcia getting a lot of playing time? Is he in a fight for his INF bench role more than in the recent past? One would have to assume so.
The lineup Card says 3/3/18?
March 5, 2018 at 9:39 am #44995This is another lineup card that failed the proof read check before hitting print. *sigh*
March 5, 2018 at 10:02 am #44999Maybe a dumb question, but what is the significance of the blue and red font for some players?

ParticipantBlue switch hitter. Red lefty
March 5, 2018 at 12:12 pm #45009i give Carp another 1.5 weeks before i worry
that would leave him with 2 weeks which is plenty for a hitter and vet like himit’s not like he is sitting around, he is running and working out and is supposed to swing today i think
i dont mind giving Martinez and Voit and Wisdom more time to show what they can do…Carp wouldnt have probably played more than 3 games or so by now anyways with how they are handing out playtime so far anyways
I am more worried about Cecil, as i think he needs to get some confidence

You’ve seen Yairo Munoz haven’t you? Let’s see how it plays out 2 weeks from now.
March 5, 2018 at 4:12 pm #45018pretty nice win…solid pitching some nice double plays turned…it wasnt really Washingtons A team but still had some good players in it
I was impressed with Sherriff and Leone… Leone might be a dark horse for that closer spot…he seems to have the mentality for the end of games…he was into it at the end
March 5, 2018 at 9:08 pm #45030For the record, St. Louis won 2-1, improving their spring ledger to 4-6-1. It was their first victory as the home team this spring after three losses.
