March 4, 2018 at 1:48 pm #44955Daniel needs a good bounce back after getting lit up in his last game.
March 4, 2018 at 2:16 pm #44960I know Greg Garcia can get on base and is a lefthanded bat but Munoz is making it a tougher choice than some expected for utility inf spot. Imo
March 4, 2018 at 4:07 pm #44964Astros win 4-1. Cards fall to 3-6-1 on the spring. In three innings, Wacha allowed two runs, including an Altuve long ball. Dakota Hudson and Conner Greene did not impress. Josh Lucas continues to pitch well. Bader and Munoz had two hits each – rest of the team totaled three. Cards hitters fanned 14 times.
March 4, 2018 at 4:08 pm #44965What has Matheny done to Tyler O`Neill. He played in the first 4 games and has seen no action since?
March 4, 2018 at 4:30 pm #44968O’Neill has an oblique injury he’s been dealing with. I thought somebody had reported it on the forum. I know its been tweeted about on twitter.

March 4, 2018 at 6:12 pm #44978Interesting article detailing the work with Schafer. I didn’t realize his ligament was actually torn. Nor did I know they only repaired the ligament. I don’t know how I feel about that procedure because we’ve seen a few guys get it done but when they come back they’re still not good pitchers. Jury still may be out but I don’t know if I’d want it over fully reconstruction surgery even if it cuts recovery by 4 months.
