You could easily make that comment in the spring training game thread or spring training news thread instead of starting a new thread.
Prieto’s hitting deserves special recognition. Is he hitting his way into the Cardinals picture? Nice to see these fine hitters, Prieto, Saggese and Scott, as future potential offensive contributors for the Cardinals.
Shady thinks Shady’s thoughts deserve special recognition. We all know that by now, including Brian. It is Brian’s site. He chooses to allow it. So that is that. It is not anyone else’s place to complain about it.
Shady is not the only one who likes to post his thoughts on a new thread. Selective complaining about it is not appropriate, IMO.
Sorry to offend anybody. I just feel some new material once in a while is warranted. If not, I’ll gladly back off.
It is clear that Shady likes to start new threads. Several of us asked him to dial it back. Maybe he has, but as noted, it would be preferable to add to existing discussions instead of starting a new thread so often.
For posters who disagree with a new thread, I ask that you ignore it. If no one responds, it will quickly drop down the page and the originator will hopefully get the idea that we have been politely trying to get across.
For those who have arrived recently from other boards, resist the temptation to engage and instead, please contribute to the real Cardinals baseball discussion here. There is plenty of it, yet I look at the posting histories of some and it is clear that they are putting most of their focus on complaining about others. That won’t cut it here.
If the way this site is run is not suitable for you, you will need find another home before you are asked to leave. I don’t want to have to go there, but the mods and I are getting tired of babysitting.
