Players to remember on Memorial Day

I am all for honoring veterans, including baseball players. I have noticed many people do not understand that Memorial Day and Veterans Day are not the same thing. Veterans Day is for honoring all who served honorably, and in particular those who are still with us. Memorial Day is reserved for remembering those who served and are no longer with us, and especially those who died as a result of their service.
