Im thinking we won’t miss Tommy’s 2 hits and 2 rbi’s in his last 24 ab’s. If they play Walker every day it’s the right move.
Play Walker every day and let’s see if he looks improved. I’m glad to see the org realizes they are out of it and trying to develop players for next year and beyond.
I think Oli got the memo from upstairs that we aren’t platooning Walker this time.

The only language this team fluently speaks is mealy-mouth nonsense. He’s played in 141 games. If they haven’t yet been able to secure a “full evaluation” of Walker at this juncture, who could possibly think they could get anywhere near to an accurate read on his future in the final 28 games of the season?
Wait. The platoon plan he was in two weeks ago? What happened to the narrative that it was Marmol not using Walker the way Mo intended?
Yeah, if you play Jordan every day down the stretch then fine. Give him regular reps against big league pitching.
I will be going to a game or two out here later in September. He dang well better be in the lineup for each game I see!!
Walker needs to spend some time with Edmonds and/or Holliday. Remember your high school coach saying you were “stepping in the bucket”? That’s the stance that Walker has at the plate. He can’t get to pitches on the outside corner.
The Kansas City Royals have claimed Tommy Pham off waivers, per a source.
The Royals are fully in the AL Central race, trailing first-place Cleveland by 2 1/2 games. They'll pick up Pham as a veteran bat with ample postseason experience.

Good for Pham. Not my favorite player as I think the chip was a little too big for the shoulder given what patience the Cards had with him. Yet at the same time, perhaps that was the drive that made him as successful as he has been with his eye and other injury issues as a limitation.
