Do MLB players actually get a pension? And if so, what typically do they get? And what are the requirements for getting a pension?
It does seem to me years ago I heard Mike Shannon say on the radio that the average MLB pension was around $90,000.

I believe to recieve a full pension. One must accumulate 10 years service time. Which is 100K
After 43 service days you get 34K
After 1 day you get full medical coverage for life
While there are web sites that say the above, they are flat out wrong. There is a mlb document on the web in pdf that you can read if you want to know the real story.
