New Year’s Wish List

So I know that we would all say something like “Cards win the World Series” or “Cards win the Central” but let’s make it a little more imaginative than that. These are not predictions, only wishes. I’ll start:

For Matt Carpenter, a strong back and steely arms so he can anchor the lineup again.

For Paul Dejong, a solid bat without any holes in it so he can cut the Ks.

For Carlos Martinez, unlimited cups to stack til he reaches the clouds.

Finally, for Alex Reyes, a healthy 2020. He’s due.

Those are all good wishes.

Mine would be for one of the young guns (O’Neill, Thomas, Arozarena, Williams, Carlson) to take complete control of LF and make it his.

Also I would like to see Gallegos to be the lockdown closer until Hicks returns.

For Yadi to have at least an historical average year and make it through the season without injury.
