This is interesting because the Cards media notes still show Hence as the Breakout starter Friday afternoon. Looks like there has been a change.
Sunday’s Breakout pitchers are still TBA.
Tekoah Roby, the No. 2 pitcher and No. 3 overall in the #STLCards system, per @MLBPipeline , is scheduled to pitch in Friday’s Spring Breakout game against the #Marlins.

Hopefully that doesn’t mean Hence is hurt. We really could use one of the farmhands becoming the best version of themselves.
This is a great idea by MLB. I hope that it will be extended in future seasons. The Cards pitching and outfield roster players seem formidable enough but the infield looks that it will need some help. After Winn-Saggesse-Prieto- the rest fall aoff a cliff. I’m interested in seeing how Chandler does.
