Sweet, stlcard25! Any pitcher with the name “win” in their name, other than Edwin Jackson, has my full support. Plus, toss in an “ez” for “ez win” and I do believe he’s a can’t miss prospect. Very refreshing to see our upstart Palm Beach affiliate upend a very pesky Tampa Tampon squad this evening by the final tally of 6-4. Stefan Trosclair came up one requirement (the usual one) shy of hitting for the cycle as he drove in 3 teammates….the big blow a towering tape measure shot in the 6th inning to knot the affair up at 4-4. Elvis Montero continued his offensive ways with a couple of hits and starter Jake Walsh tossed 4 frames of mediocre ball before flipping the ball into Michael O’Reilly’s mitt, who in turn turned in 2 2/3’s innings of uninspiring work. But alas, enter Jason Zgardowski to restore order and that’s exactly what the young man did as he spun 2 1/3 innings of 1 hit no walk baseball to earn his second victory on the year vs 1 setback. 1220 happy fans witnessed the contest at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium in a rather snappy 2 hours & 32 minutes & 19 seconds.
