On Tuesday, the #stlcards system went 3-6, with all wins by rookie complex teams. Our Player of the Day is shortstop Delvin Perez, who went 5-for-8, including a double and a home run in Peoria’s doubleheader loss. https://t.co/TMOrlmfTWvpic.twitter.com/vYuVHTU60f
Perez is still only 20 (21 in Nov.) so that some added maturity and keeping focused could get him back to where his potential would have him. He has more of that potential than any SS ahead of him.
