Warner gets his third start for MEM. He had 12 starts for Palm Beach… 6 for Springfield before moving up again. Hard to forget the show he put on from late April to early June for PB. Incredible. WOW.

Ludwin Jimenez continues to look pretty decent for a just turned 17 year old in the DSL. The ERA is rising a bit, but he’s got good K and BB rates (9.45-2.53). I’d be interested to know if his stuff is more speed, movement or control to accomplish this at his age. He’s got a 3.12 xFIP and 3.53 FIP. Someone I’ll continue to keep an eye on.
Good to see Oviedo stringing good results together, even if his walk rate still is too high.
