DSL Red vs. Tigers117 year old center fielder Joerlin De Los Santos of the DSL Cardinal Reds went 6 for 6 with a double and stole his 11th base of the season in a 13-1 decision over the Tigers. The six hits raised his season average to .333. This is his first professional season.
The DSL Cardinal Red team has won 8 of their last 9 games after opening the season 4-10. The Blue team also won 2-1 over the Mets to improve to 17-6.
Hudson another quality start (2 runs in 6 innings) in a 7-5 win over Colorado Springs for his 11th win. O’Neill his 18th homer.

What is going on in Springfield? The S-Cards have lost 10 of their last 12 games. I don’t see the problem as being traced to the starting pitching… but the bullpen has coughed up a few of the team’s leads. The cause seems to be the offense, (they have scored just over three runs per game.) The outfield of Thomas(.216 over the last 10 games)-Drake(.125) and Roache(182). have hit soft spots… maybe Mieses can help out there.
