Considering that Carson Kelly’s brother, Parker, was a 20th round draft pick I would guess he isn’t considered a major prospect but he has put up some good numbers at Peoria this year. What are the realistic expectations for him?July 21, 2019 at 5:16 pm #98829
Adolis Garcia, TCN #stlcards prospect no. 15, gets hot in July. 8 RBI today, a feat he also accomplished last July 26. The OF was July 2018 organization Player of the Month, but as you may recall, was called up to the bigs and did not sustain. Will he get another chance? pic.twitter.com/cepUkBakhn

The #stlcards system went 3-3 on Sunday. Memphis scored 13, eight driven in by Player of the Day Adolis Garcia. Jake Woodford tossed seven scoreless innings. Springfield rallied in the ninth to win and State College mounted its comeback in the eighth. https://t.co/8n52JBig4n pic.twitter.com/HFOkozIl85

Jake Woodford of the @memphisredbirds is putting together one of the best seasons of any pitcher in the hitter-friendly Pacific Coast League.

I hope Adolis Garcia does get another shot. I think he has Puig type ability.
An OF combination of O’Neill, Bader, Adolis-Garcia, Arozarena, and Carlson wouldn’t be too bad in a couple of years.July 22, 2019 at 11:14 am #98877
VEB with a good snap shot of our OF situation and how it relates to Carlson and Ozuna.July 22, 2019 at 12:39 pm #98885

gsc…. informative and intriguing piece. I would like to have the organization keep Carlson at AA for ’19 if only because of his age. It may be better for him to get a fresh start at AAA in ’20.
I don’t like to see prospects playing at a level that he has already conquered but Carlson is a special case.
