Saving at bats for when he replaces the traded Dexter Fowler and hits .300/.370/.550 for the rest of the season and “devil magic” fury abounds among other NL fans and writers.
Not a lot of nail biters in Midwest League play last night. The victors outscored the losers by a combined whopping score of 51-7. Alvaro Seijas and the Chiefs certainly did their part in keeping their fans far from the edge of their seats. In only 4 2/3 innings, Seijas earned himself a miniscule Game Score of 6…..yes, not a typo….6. One can only earn such a poor grade during that amount of work by surrendering 10 runs, 8 of them earned, on 10 hits, while notching 2 whiffs and issuing 1 walk and 2 dingers. 1,584 bored Dozer fans witnessed the 13-0 Kane County drubbing of their Chiefs, with many not sticking around until the end of this rather prolonged 2 hour and 53 minute affair.
The #STLCards minors went 3-3 on Monday, with the wins by the three complex clubs: GCL and both DSL teams. Our Player of the Day is DSL Cardinals Red starter Jose Moreno, who tossed seven innings of shutout ball. https://t.co/mMutNpmdrHpic.twitter.com/epAfc8fhbE
