I really don’t know what the Cardinals can do with Greg Holland. He gets a mysterious injury that just pops up out of nowhere and goes on a rehab assignment almost immediately where he can’t even get guys out. He just gave up 3 runs in the top the 9th blowing Memphis’ lead and blowing a save. Could it be time to cut his dead weight? I don’t know…

Why does it matter if he’s in Memphis?

See if he can figure it out.

Also, his last two appearances (with the walks) are just as troublesome as this one. Tomas was a major leaguer.

So how long can we keep him down?

I mean yeah it makes sense since Dewitt blew 14 million clams on this clown to see if you can get any value from him. However he’s showing no value at all down in the minors either.

    What a waste!

Eventually, Pads his rehab clock runs out. Then what? That’s the concern.

Then he has another “injury” and keeps at it. I guess he could refuse but the one thing that’ll kill a player’s value faster than a mid season trip to the minors is a midseason cut.

Nogowski was activated for the SPFLD game yesterday but didn’t play.

That’s what I would assume. He was lights out last September and, other than the finger-cut August, for the whole year. Something must be wrong for a player to go from that to not even being able to get AAA hitters out.

Yep, something is wrong. He can’t pitch anymore. Duh.
