    Big game for SC tonite. They’re 3.0 games out of the wild card spot and the West Virginia Black Bears (PIT) have been tough on them. Castano should get the better of their spot starter Beau Sulser. Go Spikes.

    Quick way to fall out of favor with your organization.
    They don’t seem to learn that it’s not worth it.

    Woodford with a strong 8 inning outing tonite. Nice to see, his hits and walks had been up and his SO down of late. Was thinking he had hit a wall. He is putting together a rather quiet very solid year at age 20 in high A.

    A couple more starts like that and Woodford may have an ERA below 3.00 before the year is out.

    Shew with 11 Ks to 0 BBs is pretty amazing too.

    See when I look at the game links you post in the write-up I see this for Adolis Garcia:

    BATTING
    HR: Garcia, J (10, 4th inning off Perez, F, 1 on, 1 out).

    BASERUNNING
    SB: Garcia, J (11, 2nd base off Perez, F/Canelon);

    Which is why I assumed his name is Jose first, not Adolis.

    Right, Pads. Like I said on the other thread, MLB.com uses his full given name, Jose Adolis. The Cardinals just use Adolis, so that is what we use, as well. I get that it can be confusing, but I stick with what the team gives me.

    (Clarifying for those who may have missed the earlier discussion.)
