We should be watching the Peoria’s game tonight with Rondon going.

Who is this guy?

Rondon was signed in Jan. of ’16 and placed at the DSL Cards. In June of ’17 he got a start at JC and pitched just 4.0 innings, then sent to GCL where he had some success in the rotation.

This year he started out with SC and had 5 starts. On 7-11-18 dispatched to Peoria despite an 0-4 record. Check out the comparison between SS-A SC and FS-A Peoria.

That’s some improvement after a step up (something that I look for in a prospect). the strike out rate stands out the most. So which Rondon moves forward? Ya never know with these prospects. Hopefully Rondon continues on with the stuff he’s showing now.

Nolan Gorman’s first Midwest League hit was a 3 run homer. This after an 0-6 start with 5 strikeouts and two walks. The other out was a line drive to center field where he was robbed by an excellent play. The Kane County video broadcast is very poor. Glad when they get to a better site.
