Young Mr Carlson is still running a nearly 1-1 K:BB ratio despite his youth relative to the league. He had appeared to take a nice leap forward early in Peoria although he was in a bit of a slump when he got the promotion even. Nice to see him start to take a step ahead in Palm Beach with a nice night. Hopefully he can really get rocking soon.
A belated congrats to 20 year old Juan “Pez” Yepez for his recent promotion to Palm Beach. Pez is off to a rather pedestrian 1-16 start with his new club, but keep an eye on him….because the young fellow can absolutely rake! A stern warning to all FSL pitchers……Pez is poised to explode!
I am really bummed as I had a good interview with Carlson the other day, but something happened with my voice recorder or my operation of it and I did not capture the audio… For those who are members, Evan Mendoza is posted and coming next week will be Andy Young and Kramer Robertson.
