My Wisconsin State Journal has today’s Peoria game starting at 11:05am, which I thought odd for a Tuesday.

Kyle Leahy has posted some terrible numbers the last 2 years. It may be time for him to find a new calling in life.

Edmundo starting at short Jordan Walker at 3rd for Spgfld. Noisy bunch of field trippers.

Springfield has erupted in the first. 5 runs in and still batting. They’ll need it with the pitcher on the mound.

Probably the most uninspiring day of the year for the system so far. It looked like last year’s affiliate lineup out there. Memphis barely put up a fight. Peoria got pummeled by Cedar Rapids. Palm Beach was no hit! Even the sole winner, Springfield, managed to look bad as they barely hung onto an 8 run lead. Yuck. Throw in the big league club’s performance and the day is a real clunker.

Looks like the farm returning to last year’s form. I check in here hoping for .500 daily win percentage and we haven’t even had that for seems like a week. We need to do an Angels draft–all pitchers. Being in lopsided games can be detrimental to our hitters’ discipline as they just swing for fences for stats.

Don’t look now, but Ivan Herrera is up to a .295 average and his OPS is over .850 after his triple tonight.

A catcher hitting a triple should have been your lead Brian. :-]
