That’s what pitchers do in a little league game.Bad pitching leads to bad fielding and ultimately bad hitting…and vice versa.
It’s strange how contagious bad play is.
Our Peoria hurlers today fanned 13 and yielded just 1 free pass……yet somehow managed to lose 7-3 in Beloit. Malcom Nunez has been coming around of late at the dish, but sat today.
At Palm Beach Masyn Winn’s stats are gradually creeping up. Nice to see. You worry that a kid that young and new to professional baseball would be overmatched even at Low A. I’m still not convinced that he’s a shortstop because of the movement that he had on his pitches when I saw a video of him pitching. It was the video Mo was looking at when he declared that Winn would not necessarily be a shortstop. They’re letting it up to Winn and the coaches to decide.
