Here’s an article scientifically explaining that MLB’s baseballs have been altered contrary to what MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred has said.

Something I just found out in the article is that all teams must now store baseballs in an air conditioned enclosed room.

Justin Verlander’s take makes sense to me.

All I’m saying is I don’t care if balls are juiced (seriously). We’re all using the same ball so it’s a fair field. My issue is I don’t like being lied to. I knew something was different. Century old records are being broken and numbers are skewed.

I would bet that he cares a lot about his career legacy. No one gets into the Hall of Fame based on their accumulated salary over their career.
