    OK, so this could be no more than just speculation, but still worth discussion.

    I don’t think this is the year a marginal upgrade in the bullpen. If Lynn isn’t traded or extended then it just shows the team is ok with being an average team. We are decent team that really has no chance going against the upper tier teams in the NL as things currently are.

    Yeah – so the Cubs are about to add Justin Wilson and possibly Alex Avila – after just adding Quintana.

    And the Cardinals think Joe Smith will help them close a 4.5 game gap?

    That would be stupid beyond belief.

    Lol typical cardinal JUNK trade…Cubs keep getting better, while the cards sit in neutral, the Front Office right now has NO clue how to put together a team.
