Sweet! Welcome back, Stink. You know, for many years, your’s truly called the action for many Cards games on our Cardinal Nation game threads. I could carry on with precise efficiency without a sidekick up in the booth with me…..a well oiled machine clicking away on all PBP cylinders if you will. However, thanks to Father Time, I’m finding it more difficult to go solo and thus have greatly curtailed my PBP these past couple of years. A sidekick up in the booth has become a dire necessity. Now besides maybe RatsBuddy, LACARDFAN, Albert, TD, Pads, Flood, BicycleMike, Bling, Bobby Reed, stlcard25, Jnevel, JJ, LouisEu, Euro Dandy, CardinalinFrance, ZTR, Booyah, KeepComingBack, NyQuist, Willie, TheGreyGhost, Cranny, Scotty, 1964Cards, Gags, or Brian himself, can you imagine anyone being more qualified to join me than Stink??? Come call all of the action with me up in the 2025 booth and all of your wildest dreams may very well come to fruition, Stink.
An Addams-Stink duo in the TCN booth would rival the all-time Harry Caray-Jack Buck team as far as legendary Cardinal duos behind the mic/keyboard.
I agree BikeMike. Not only might the duo of Addams-Stink win the Ford C. Frick Award but I’d say there’s a good chance of them winning a Nobel Prize in Journalism. Or in something.
You two esteemed gentlemen (BicycleMike & Rat) are too kind! Come to think of it, the tag-team PBP combo of BicycleMike and Rat would certainly be extraordinarily entertaining as well. Well let’s hope Stink comes fully out of retirement and agrees to one of Brian’s lucrative 4 year 2 figure PBP contracts……I know it’s enriched my financial coffers over the years. And as an added bonus, I generally receive a catcall or two every ballgame where a poster says “you Stink Pugs”! Now when this occurs, and it most assuredly will, with Stink at my side, I’ll just smile and point at my sidekick and carry on with my rousing PBP with no damage done to my unwavering confidence. Hopefully Stink will weigh in soon here.
It sure is…By the time opening day rolls around I may need a potent sedative to contain my enthusiasm.

Indeed Willie. I too believe that Stink is the color man that we’ve so desperately been looking for to sit along side me up in the PBP booth. He has the pedigree, class, knowledge, charm and insane wit to keep our posters stiffly glued to their seats during our game threads. His only drawback is his propensity to blurt out naughty words when things aren’t going well for our Birds…….especially if the cubbies are beating us, plus his liberal consumption of alcoholic beverages in the booth. Brian prohibits us from drinking more than one beer per inning when we are calling the action……those of us that are familiar with Stink, know full well that Stink would have tremendous difficulty abiding by this rule. He’s been strangely silent since starting this thread. Stink……where art thou?
