Quit trying to reinvent it every year to make more money. Get the game back to being about the game. You don’t like it lasting so long leave, or shut it off. You don’t like the shift learn to go the other way. You want to make the game more exciting? Instead of increasing the homer totals put fences back where they belong so that we have more triples doubles. More running and throwing from the outfielders. Not just waiting for the long ball. Get a Commissioner that represents owners AND players the way it was meant to be.

Yep, it’s pretty tone deaf from MLB. All I can think is that they’ve accepted that the handwriting is on the wall and figure that the corporate partnerships are the way to make the most money that won’t be coming in from fans in the seats or TV viewers in coming year.
