Without doubt he’ll be taking others from our organization with him.

Scanning news and Astros blogs I saw this somewhere: “Flores could easily be the second coming of Jeff Luhnow”

I just hope both organizations make sure everyone changes their passwords.

Based on sketchy info about the actual workings of the orgs, it seems like the GM position in the Astros org would be more substantial than the GM position in the Cardinals org. due to no VPBO in Houston. But in any event, it seems normal that pre-Bloom holdovers would make their way to the exit one way or another.

Flores has done a good job, but I’m not too upset about him leaving. It felt inevitable and needed in a way to help clear out more of the Mo regime. I’m curious if Chaim brings in someone external for the role or promotes one of the current org guys.

Flores has done a good job, but I don’t consider him unexpendable. I thought the Cards may make a play to keep him around in the GM role if he was threatened, but perhaps that’s ticketed for Cerfolio if someone tries to nab him.

I would prefer to keep Cerfolio over Flores and Moises so I do like they have kept it vacant for now.
