First MLB All Star Team

I see the first MLB All Star team voting includes only one Cardinal, Jack Flaherty. How they could pass over Kolten Wong is beyond me. I guess a Gold Glove and a decent batting average doesn’t count for much anymore. I won’t bother to take the time to vote on this one since it allows multiple votes from the same people. I have never understood that kind of voting system. It seems to make winners out of the persistent rather than the one vote per person principle.

I don’t like the look of that reaction by Flaherty. Of course athletes are confident to a fault but be a bigger man than that petty stuff.
