Other pitchers are optioned.
This is what I think it would be. Still debating what I think it should be.June 3, 2018 at 9:45 am #54961OnyxgemParticipantFree
Bader has to be started at very least in RF, but honestly as great defensively as he is he should be starting CF everydayJune 3, 2018 at 11:33 am #54966stlcard25ParticipantPaid - Annual
I’d probably have a standard starting lineup of:
-Jmart gets a couple starts at 1B a week and maybe spots LF for Ozuna once
-Fowler gets 4 starts a week in RF (Bader spots for Pham one a week), LH PH
-Munoz backs up 3B-SS-2B
-Garcia backup, PH against RHP
-Peña backup C
I realize Gregerson and Holland have to be in there but I don’t think I would trust them much even at full health. I’d like to be wrong come October.June 3, 2018 at 12:42 pm #5497214NyquisTParticipantPaid - Annual
For now I’m leaving out Wainwright, Leone + Reyes (soon to be) who are on the 60 day DL.
With Molina, CMartinez and DeJong back:
and one of Bowman-Brebbia-Tuivailala
Kelly has to be traded. He’s not going to sit in St Louis and isn’t hitting much AND there’s no room for him at Memphis with the emergence of Knizner.
Fowler has to be traded. He isn’t playing up to the team’s standards.
Cecil-Gregerson-Holland are in the same boat… become effective or move on.
We are STILL looking for a proven power bat for the cleanup spot. We have some chips and only a handful should be excluded for consideration.June 3, 2018 at 1:41 pm #54976gscottarParticipantPaid - Annual
Trying to make a lineup out of this roster because some can only hit, some can only play defense, and some can only hit LH pitching, and most of the bullpen is ineffective, etc…. but my lineup would be:
I would DFA Cecil, Gregerson, and Garcia. Waino should stay on the DL the rest of the year and Reyes probably will as well. Bowman should be optioned to Memphis. I am hoping Holland will be more effective after a 30 day rehab.
