    This might be one of the final nails in Boras’ coffin. I doubt if any GM will sign one of his holdouts. Nearly all of his clients who missed ST, and then signed late have been a bust. His tools as an agent have been to leak fake information to the sports media, then wait and wait After this neither he nor his client can afford to wait and wait, plus most front offices now understand that they were allowing Boras to manipulate them via the sports media. It will be interesting to watch how the Chris Bryant negotiations go.

    The Cub bullpen is a real issue as we head down the stretch. The only reliable reliever they have is Rowan Wick, ironically.
