2022 first rounder, #22 overall, Hjerpe went down with an undisclosed injury at end of May. Since then no word. Seeing as he is a recent #1 pick, it seems reasonable that some member of the local sports media would have inquired by now. His pro career lasted 39 innings so far. Since we are in looking to the future mode, especially as to pitching, it seems like some intel is warranted.
I want to bump this. Hjerpe showed some interesting signs just before going on the IL. If his health is nothing to worry about, I could see his moving fast.
