    I’m glad Scott Van Slyke is with the Marlins. I thought he was an excellent 4th outfielder.

    Mudville, what do you mean by Greene has been around for a long time?

    He went A/A+/AA in 2015, A+/AA in 2016, and AA in 2017.

    I get what you mean. But some of his pitches were so far out of the strike zone that it makes you wonder what he’s been doing for the last three years. Granted that it was his first outing of the spring and that he’s with a new organization and that he was surely trying his best to impress, but in that first game of spring training, he did not impress, IMHO.

I don’t see him as an AA pitcher based on what he did on Friday.

    It was one game at the start of Spring Training. There is still a long ways to go before writing somebody off.
