Looks like uniform related, probably corporate sponsor patch.

Something for which all fans were waiting breathlessly.

Talk about being unable to read the room.

Investment Bankers. Yeah, that will get your juices flowing.

    The tone deafness is staggering.

Turning baseball players into billboards is repulsive.

Don’t think of them as players, but as mobile revenue-generators.

When I was a kid the Stag brewery over in Belleville sponsored my little league team. One year I guess there were complaints about using kids to advertise beer, so after that we were sponsored by a funeral home. That was better I guess.

“Turning baseball players into billboards is repulsive.”

    We agree on that observation.

‘The team is in last place, but look, we give you a corporate advertisement to ease your worries and give you hope for the future”

The obtuse insensitivity is off the charts.

The mid season dumpster dive better be extra special.

Revenue generation that will most likely not be spent on the team.

Maybe Bill will explain to everyone that having strong financial partners like this is what enables Mo and him to promise payroll increases during the offseason amidst season ticket sales & promotions.

I’m not necessarliy a fan of the concept, but I certainly admire the timing.

Wonder if anyone asked why not? My guess is that it “could not be moved” because they did not feel the need to do so.

Well of course it could have been moved. They didn’t want to because why would they? It’s not like fans won’t still come to games and that is the only thing they give a bleep about.

I might just have to find a new wealth manager to keep track of all my stocks and bonds and other wealth stuff.

The day is not too far off when players uni’s will look like race car drivers. The human billboard style.

Well the NBA has done this for 2-3 years. They must have regulations on where and how big it can be.

I don’t like it either but this day was coming. We had played a couple team that had them on the uniforms this season iirc.
