Cardinals Draft Encyclopedia

Hello TCN,

For the past several weeks, I’ve been researching the complete history of the St. Louis Cardinals’ MLB Draft and compiling what I hope will become the most comprehensive St. Louis Cardinals Draft Encyclopedia ever assembled.

During the research process, I’ve already uncovered numerous historical inaccuracies involving schools, institution names, conference affiliations, and other draft-related information. As I continue the project, those corrections and the supporting research will be documented throughout the encyclopedia.

The project is still in its early stages—I currently have 10 institutions completed—but the goal is to document every one of the 1,300+ institutions from which the Cardinals have drafted a player since 1965.

I’d genuinely appreciate any feedback. If you notice an error, have additional historical information, old media guides, school archives, or anything else that could improve the accuracy of this project, I’d love to hear from you. Also, if you want anything added that isn’t already listed, My goal is to make this the most accurate and complete historical reference possible.
