I’m not as confident in Blaze as some others here. I think it is a coin flip if the org even protects him this year from the Rule 5 draft and I likely wouldn’t. The team already has enough 1B only guys clogging up the roster. I don’t think other teams would be clamoring to claim a 1B either even though he has AAA experience now after going undrafted in the R5 draft last year
Bling, how much have you looked at Jordan’s minor league stats? Have you noticed anything about him other than his .198 batting average in part of the year at Memphis, his hometown?
If Jordan could get his BA up to the levels that it was in other stops in the minors, he could be very interesting. He turns 23 in December and seems to profile similar to Burleson.
Shades of Brian O’Neal Jordan anyone? Similar in stature, but Blaze not having the blazing speed and muscular build of Brian. But looks aren’t everything……look at John Kruk. Brian didn’t hit the show until age 25, so Blaze has a little time to hone his skills.
Jordan could pan out, but as of now he’s a Luken Baker wannabee. By the way, Baker OPSed .900 with his new AAA team. Of course, he has Freeman blocking him for now but Freddie is no spring chicken.
All batters are streaky. It’s a new pitcher(s) every day.
Burly as our most consistent batter in 2025. He had 4 months with at least an .800 ops and was top 9 in PA’s those months.

Burly also had a .602 month and a .713 month.
