This upcoming series against the Brewers is big. C-mart making his 3rd start since coming back from D,L. Although his first couple starts have not been C-mart like,He is a big game pitcher esp on the road and I expect him to do well tonight and lead us to a series opening victory. I would like a sweep but its really hard to sweep a 4 game series against anyone esp on the road but a series win is definitely a possibility. WE have the right starters going in C-mart, Flaherty, Mikolas,and Weaver.. now we just the clutch hitting and our bullpen needs to come through for us. Expect big games from Munoz,and Pham tonight.
It seems amazing that with all the underperforming and injuries that we’re only 1 game back right now for a wild card spot.
This is going to be a tough one. You want to win each game, but realistically, a series split with the Brewers would be an overall good result. Hopefully Martinez will improve back to his pre-DL form tonight. He and Mikolas need to eat some innings this series to help our pen look good, because Weaver and Flaherty are not as likely to do so.
