If Stl offers Bader the DeJong contract, i would applaude the offer.

That pick-ff was indeed a bonehead play. But to cherry pick one mistake out of a guy’s body of work and use that as a reason to say he is not a major-leaguer is dumb.

On top of that, it probably would not have made any difference in the outcome. The Cardinals are not very good right now. The offense is not there, and the pitching, primarily the bullpen, is deplorable. Harrison Bader is not why the Cardinals are putting on the el foldo act.

Olbermann has been making a living by proving that he can’t play a game well enough, so he has to write about it. I’m impressed. Or not.

I’ve been re-reading the Jon Ronson book, So You’ve Been Publicly Shamed, and based on the rather disturbing tales therein, and the Olbermann/Bader back-and-forth, I have less interest than ever in Twitter participation. Seems to make people even meaner than the regular internet.

I don’t have strong feelings one way or the other about K.O., but any baseball follower who thinks Harry’s not a dynamite talent isn’t paying attention. In other words, what BikeMike said.

All KO has been doing for the last 40 years is to show the world what a dirt bag loser he is…

Olbermann is one of the reasons why the only thing I watch on ESPN is a ball game. If they want to be political, then those individuals should move to PMSNBC.
