Steckenrider on the hill for Miami….kind of sounds like the name of a WW2 German Panther war hero. Well let’s hope he leaves his heroics back in his homeland this evening as our Birds need 3 to tie and 4 to recapture the lead. Nope….1-2-3 we go as General Steckenrider guns us down with ease in the 7th.
Cy Urena notches his maiden victory of the year vs 7 setbacks as Miami defeats the Cardinals this evening 7-4. Game ball? I thought I saw a Marlins player toss one to Martinez, but Jose dropped it…..not nice. Jose will get it going defensively…..hopefully.
