Masyn Winn and Victor Scott are 2025 National League Gold Glove Award “finalists”. That means they finished among the top three at their positions. Winners to be announced next month.

I hate being Debbie Downer but Utility GG/Silver Slugger awards are a bridge too far for me. Burleson and Donovan had good but not great years at the plate. If one of them win the SS award will be cheapened, IMO. Cronenworth is even more of a stretch.
Yeah Mort, unless there’s a trophy presented for mundane mediocrity, there’s not a solitary player on the ’25 roster that merits any sort of award.
Donovan won a GG for Utility player in 2022. He played about half of the 2025 season with a strained groin muscle. I want to see if how he looks at third base when completely healthy. I don’t believe Gorman or Saggesse are strong enough defensively, and the next closest replacement appears to be Jesus Baez, I guess.
The annual Fielding Bible Defensive Awards are not league specific, with one award per position across MLB. The Cardinals had no winners in the 2025 group announced today.
The last time St. Louis had a selection was in 2022 with Nolan Arenado at third base.
The Cubs are their Defensive Team of the Year.
