Rainiel had a very successful A+ debut with a 3 for 5 game. Interesting they promoted him for 4 games.
I would like to see Deniel Ortiz get a promotion to Springfield when Peoria’s season is over to close out the year and get some Springfield playoff time in. He has had a great season and has been performing very well in his time at Peoria.

Nice seeing Trevor Deane Haskins getting off the proverbial schneid with a couple hits, one being a soaring 7th inning tater into the upper reaches of the cheap seats. We’re still waiting for Trevor’s first professional BB……based on his track record, we could be waiting awhile. Keep an eye on this kid though.
I had really high expectations for Guretvich. Still do really. But he’s now hitting .197 and was 0 for 5 with 5 strikeouts tonight. Hopefully he can work through swing mechanics this offseason.
