Kind of a deceptive 3-4 as the full season teams got blanked.
Mathews being as wild as he was is a bit concerning. The K rate is just ok and the walk rate is alarming for him at this point. Hopefully he’s just shaking off rust and not still injured.

I don’t actually know the answer 1TD for 2 triples by the same player as a Cardinal in a game. I know Rasmus did it in 2010, but it’s probably been done since. I also know that neither Pages and Pozo are going to do it – ever. Still, it’s a pretty rare feat.
I thought Ricketts hit 2 triples in a game vs Atlanta. One off each Niekro…..Phil & Joe……Phil being the much more accomplished.
