The FO is a bunch of hard heads for sure. They NEVER admit a mistake and just keep running their big contract mistakes out there no matter what.

I don’t think we will sniff another pennant as long as Mo is in charge. Hell, I don’t even think we can win this slaw division again while he’s in charge…..

True, so I do not expect BDW to admit a mistake in signing Mo through 2025. By then, there will be nothing left but scortched earth upon which nothing grows.

I’d say Chappy’s a good pick up for Texas. I’ll also say that I’d guess that Bochy had some input. He probably said to snag him before someone else does and we might be able to hold off the Astros.

Whether report 10 miles SW of Busch. Thunder, lightning, wind, rain. Severe thunderstorm warning.

The tarp is on the field.

I don’t get why the Royals didn’t wait and get a better return. A AAA type with control problems and two TJs, and a DSL repeater.

The Reds got a two out game-tying two run homer in the last of the 10th by McClain to tie the Padres 4-4. Then in the bottom of the 11th they got a two out two run walk-off homer by Steer and they beat the Padres 7-5 in 11 innings.

Hows come our guys can’t hit when it counts???

The Cardinals, Padres and Mets are now 10, 11 and 17.5 games back respectively in their divisions. Three teams that were preseason chalk horses have been reduced to swayback nags.

I wonder if OlliMo will start Libby Saturday and push everyone back a day or skip him and stay with Our Jack. I imagine the Cardinals brass agonizing over the decision.

Flaherty is pitching for his dinner now and he knows it.

He’s already damaged goods and this time in his career is when he would have gotten the big contract.

Its hard to pitch around a bum shoulder but some guys do it. Jack is not having much luck so far. Hudson is in the same boat at Memphis. Being able to stay off the IL is a positive at least.

    Woodford to the IL.

Saw that then glanced at the standings.

There is the rest of the NL Central and then there is the Cardinals.

This has been the season that just keeps giving…..

Being 10 out and the next to last team is 5 out is like getting lapped in NASCAR.

Donovan out for a bit too.

    The disaster continues.

After Bader put the Yanks up 1-0, The Nootster tied it up with a dong.

Had a nice chance with the bases jammed. Just needed that elusive 2 out RBI base hit. At least DeJong put it in play which is more than I’ve come to expect.
