I guess the score is fitting – this Cardinal team has reminded me a lot of many of the ‘70s squads. This game echoes a ‘70s game against the Big Red Machine.
Looked at the box score again, and the ERA’s of our three pitchers used are 6.23, 6.84, and 7.71.

I think Mo got Lawrence when Matz went on the DL. His first few appearance where long relief, 4 or so innings, afer starters got blown out early. Pitching was a debacle then and still is.

If Adam gets two more ABs and strikes out twice, he will have the same batting line as Goldschmidt did before he was lifted.
Yea we wanted Woodford to pitch because he had been effective and deserved a chance. He didn’t really get it last year in my opinion. This year yea he’s not been good but the same could be said of a lot of guys.
