Waino obviously should have walked off into the sunset with Yadi and Albert. But will his miserable 2023 season tarnish his great career? Doubtful. Just ask these greats whom opted to keep playing when they definitely should have hung them up. Mickey Mantle, Pete Rose, Ken Griffey Jr., Greg Maddux, Tom Seaver, Ricky Henderson, Dave Winfield, Manny Ramirez, Willie Mays and Babe Ruth.
Umpire Laz Diaz missed 12 calls in the first 6 innings. When #Cardinals hitting coach Turner Ward argued, Diaz ejected him.
