Again, Eddie is the best CF’er , SS & 2B that the Cardinals have …Period. He is not just versatile at all those positions he is one of the best in all of baseball at those 3 positions.
BB, a mlb SS is a 95 ops+ this season. Avg 2B is a 97. Avg CF is a 99.
Edman is a career 100 ops+. Over 2022 and 2023 he is a 101 ops+.
When you add on Edmans plus, plus D and baserunning, he is well above avg.

BillyMo may trade Edman for pitching this winter. I can’t tell what they’re up to. They are all over the map. Sometimes it looks like chaos.Edman isn’t one of my 5 untouchables, but ya I’d hope he’s around next season. To early to tell if Winn will be a black hole in the lineup or not.
