If Mikolas is even the number three starter next season it’s going to be tough to contend.
Dude has a 4.5+ ERA and that’s just not good enough – or maybe it is now for the Cardinals?
I don’t know what the FO is thinking if Mikolas is the plan for #3.

We complained about Goldschmidt hitting at the 2 spot, but you wonder why the Phillies hit Schwarber at 1? Good power, but not much else. Seems like a better 6 or 7 hitter than lead off.
Suarez getting hammered, but Mikolas with another bad start pretty much sealed this one in the loss column.
Winn giving us a glimpse of the future. He is going to make a play at some point in the next year where we will see a highlight of a 97 MPH throw.

Mikolas is a #5 at this point….great deal signing him to 20 mill plus for the next few years….at some point Dewitt needs to wake up and see the pitching decisions by the Front Office brain trust have been a disaster
ZTR, agree on MM as the guy is terrible. Classic Mo mistake giving him that extension and now have to look at him again in 24.
